By using or accessing Flurrio (its website, platform, mobile apps, services, and related entities collectively known as "we", "us", or the "Services") in any manner, you acknowledge that you accept the practices and policies outlined in this Privacy Policy, and you hereby consent that we will collect, use, and share your information in the following ways.
This Privacy Policy covers our treatment of personally identifiable information ("Personal Information") and other user data that we gather or you provide when you are accessing or using the Services, but not to the practices of companies we do not own or control, or people that we do not manage. We gather various types of Personal Information from our users, as explained in more detail below, and we use this Personal Information internally in connection with our Services, including to personalize, provide, and improve our services, to allow you to set up a user account and profile, to contact you and allow other users to contact you, to fulfill your requests for certain products and services, and to analyze how you use the Services. In certain cases, we may also share some Personal Information with third parties, but only as described below.
We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If you are under 18, you are forbidden from registering for the Services, using the Service's apps, or sending any personal information about yourself to us. If we learn that we have collected personal information from anyone under the age of 18, we will delete that information as quickly as possible. If you believe that anyone under the age of 18 may have provided us personal information, please contact us at https://www.wavecreststudios.com/contact/
Visitors to the main website are presented with a popup to acknowledge this Privacy Policy. Cookies that are strictly necessary for the legitimate interest of the maintenance, performance, and safety of the website and Services are stored on your device. Analytics providers may be used as described in the Sub-Processor list (https://flurrio.com/legal/sub-processors) to respond to errors in aggregate and monitor performance, which is necessary to ensure the continued availability of the Services.
We are constantly trying to improve our Services, so we may need to change this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we do, we will alert you to changes by either placing a notice on the http://flurrio.com website, by sending you an email, and/or by requiring your review of such changes prior to your continued use of the Services. Please note that if you have opted not to receive legal notice emails from us, those legal notices will still govern your use of the Services, and you are still responsible for reading and understanding them. If you use the Services after any changes to the Privacy Policy have been posted, that means you agree to all of the changes. Use of information we collect now is subject to the Privacy Policy in effect at the time such information is used.
We receive and securely store any information you provide to us to facilitate the functionality of the Services, which may include but is not limited to the following:
For example, through the registration process and/or through your account settings on the Services, we may collect Personal Information such as your name, username, email address, company name, birthdate, or profile photo. When you create posts, comments, or messages on the Services, we store the contents of those posts, comments, or messages to provide the requested functionality of the Services.
When you interact with Content on the Services, including "reacting" to posts and comments, sending messages, requesting or accepting connections with other users, following other users, and viewing posts, those interactions are recorded to facilitate the functionality of the Services. Those interactions may be used to provide customized experiences for you, such as suggesting other connections or Content you may be interested in.
We may also collect and store authorization tokens for interacting with third-party accounts that you choose to use and connect to our Services (for example, for interacting with third party social networks). We may receive your username, page name, and other details from the third-party service to facilitate the connection and provide the requested functionality.
We may communicate with you if you have provided us the means to do so. For example, if you have given us your email address, we may send you promotional email offers on behalf of the Services or email you about your use of the Services. Also, we may receive a confirmation when you open an email from us. This confirmation helps us improve the Services.
Whenever you interact with some elements of the Services, we may automatically receive and record information on our server logs from your browser or device, which may include your IP address, operating system, device identification, the type of browser and/or device you are using to access the Services, "cookie" information, and the page or feature you requested. Your IP address may be used to infer your rough geographical location. Such information is strictly necessary to maintain the security of the Services, monitor the performance of the Services, process your data according to our Data Processing policies, and provide the functionality you request while using the Services.
"Cookies" are identifiers we may transfer to your browser or device that allow us to recognize your browser or device and tell us how and when pages and features in our Services are visited and by how many people, as well as to track views and logins to facilitate interaction through the Services. You may be able to change the preferences on your browser or device to prevent or limit your device's acceptance of cookies, but this may prevent you from taking advantage of some of our features.
If you click on a link to a third-party website or service, including from visiting a user profile and clicking their Profile Links, such third party may also transmit cookies to you and have separate policies regarding their usage of Personal Information. The Services does not transmit any Personal Information or Content of yours to such third parties visited by links. This Privacy Policy does not cover the use of cookies by any third parties, and we are not responsible for their privacy policies and practices.
We may use data about your usage pattern to customize content for you. We may also use anonymized analytics to improve the Services, for example, to tell how often users use a particular feature of the Services, and to improve the Services and respond to potential issues in aggregate. Such data used by analytics contains no Personal Information and in no way can be used to identify any individual.
Some limited device information and advertisement interactions may be collected automatically by ad providers. See the section below for more details.
We neither rent nor sell your Personal Information in personally identifiable form to anyone. However, we may share your Personal Information with third parties as described in this section. For a detailed list of the third-party services utilized and how your data is shared, view the Sub-Processor list here: https://flurrio.com/legal/sub-processors
Analytics
We may anonymize your usage of certain features on the platform so that you are not individually identifiable, and provide that information in aggregate to our partners for the purpose of analytics used to improve the platform. We never disclose usage information to a partner in a manner that would identify you personally, as an individual.
Advertisements
To cover the costs of operating the platform, certain features may require the viewing of advertisements to unlock access, and advertisements may be added to the user experience, such as when viewing your feed. We use third party services for managing and displaying advertisements. The advertisement provider(s) may ask for your consent for Ad Personalization and/or Tracking Authorization.
The Services does not share your profile info or the Content of your posts with ad providers, but in order to show you more relevant ads, the ad providers may collect or request to collect which ads you interact with and some device data as described in the Sub-Processors list. It's a necessary balance to achieve the goals of the platform while allowing the revenue to support it.
If you wish to change your selection regarding advertisements and personalization (such as revoking consent), view the sections below for more details.
User Profile Information
Certain user profile information, including your name, username, company, or profile photo/avatar may be displayed to other users to facilitate user interaction within the Services. If your privacy settings allow it, such information will be displayed as a search result when people search for a term related to or matching your profile information. Additionally, such information is displayed to users you choose to Follow or Connect with. Such information is also shown when you comment on a post or send someone a message.
Your account privacy settings may allow you to limit the other users who can see the Personal Information in your user profile and/or what information in your user profile is visible to others. When those account privacy settings are set to allow viewing your profile, visitors to your profile may be able to see your profile information, including but not limited to your profile picture, name, username, profile bio, and profile links.
Only the posts you have set to "Public" visibility will be visible to users viewing your profile that you have not interacted with and who have not interacted with you. Posts shared to "Followers" will only be visible to your Followers or Connections. Posts shared to "Connections" or a "Connection List" will only be visible to your Connections and those on your Connection List accordingly.
Publishing
By authorizing the Services to publish Content on your behalf to other social media networks and other third party platforms ("Publishing Destinations"), you also authorize the Services to share the Content of your post being published to that Publishing Destination. You also agree to the Publishing Destination's own privacy policy regarding the Content shared with them. To view a list of the Publishing Destinations and their terms of use and privacy policies, visit https://flurrio.com/legal/publishing
Business Transfers
We may choose to buy or sell assets. In these types of transactions, customer information is typically one of the business assets that would be transferred. Also, if we (or our assets) are acquired, or if we go out of business, enter bankruptcy, or go through some other change of control, Personal Information could be one of the assets transferred to or acquired by a third party.
Protection of the Services and Others
We reserve the right to access, read, preserve, and disclose any information that we believe is necessary to comply with law or court order; enforce or apply our Terms of Use and other agreements; or protect the rights, property, or safety of the Services, our employees, our users, or others. See the section below regarding safeguards around such access.
The Services will maintain technical and organizational measures to ensure the security of user data and Content and protect such user data and Content against a data breach. The Services shall only grant access to User Data and Content to members of its personnel and Sub-Processors to the extent strictly necessary for the provision of the Services. The Services shall ensure that persons authorized to process such data have committed themselves to confidentiality or are under an appropriate statutory obligation of confidentiality. The Services shall treat all User Data, Content, and Personal Information as strictly confidential.

You may decline consent, but will see less relevant ads.

Users in those regions may be presented with a form asking for consent for sharing limited device data with the advertisement provider. The Services does not share your profile info or the Content of your posts with ad providers, but the ad providers may request your consent for collecting some device data in order to show you more relevant ads. You may delete your account at any time by navigating to the Settings screen in the web or mobile app and following the steps listed under the menu option "Delete Your Account". The Settings screen can be accessed from the gear menu on your Profile screen. If you delete your account, your profile, posts, and comments will be permanently erased. You can always opt not to disclose information to us, but keep in mind some information may be needed to register with us or to take advantage of some of our features.
You may be able to add, update, or delete information as explained above. When you update information, however, we may maintain a copy of the unrevised information in our records for audit and security purposes, including ensuring compliance with the Terms of Use.
